Julian Hunt Home Page

In 40 years research on English local history, Julian Hunt has accumulated a huge collection of transcribed documents, including wills and inventories, property deeds, tax returns, alehouse regocnizances, and fire insurance records. The original documents are held in a variety of English and Welsh libraries and record offices. This website is intended to be a vehicle for making these transcripts more widely available. The original source of each document is given. Users of the site are free to copy the transcripts, but it is hoped that they will acknowledge the source in any articles and publications.
